@thaibrodiedoesn't work, all the buttons are working fine, but in online games, the recievers have Xbox icons even tho you are playing with a ps4 controller, the audibles and all the other buttons stay the same, just reciever icons changing somehow

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for letting us know what you are seeing in Madden NFL 24.

For anyone seeing the controller button changes would it be possible to get the following information?

Client:

Online ID (Gamertag):

What type of controller are you using?

Is the controller wired or wireless?

Are you getting an error message?

Is anything else happening?

Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue:

If possible, please share a video of this happening.

If on PC, please share a DxDiag

  @EA_Illium Hey, if you wan't to replicate the problem, use a ps4/ps5 controller on the PC version of the game, and try solo/offline play, buttons are as they should be, then try it on any online mode: House rules, H2H etc. the buttons change. it's only the reciever icons, and quicktime/spin/juke/ showing on screen that change, picking a play it stays as the right bottons. should be easy to test and find the problem, if a dev just tries it themselves 🙂

  Are you getting an error message? No
  Is anything else happening? Buttons change to XBOX layout when online h2h, works fine offline
  Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: I unistalled the game, tried ds4windows for controllers, recovering the app

  Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: toggled steam controller input in steam, exited steam completely, tried wired, restarted computer multiple times, reinstalled the game, reset windows
  If possible, please share a video of this happening.
