Thanks for letting us know what you are seeing in Madden NFL 24.
For anyone seeing the controller button changes would it be possible to get the following information?
Client:
Online ID (Gamertag):
What type of controller are you using?
Is the controller wired or wireless?
Are you getting an error message?
Is anything else happening?
Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue:

What type of controller are you using? PS5 Controller
Is the controller wired or wireless? Wireless when battery is charged, wired when not
Are you getting an error message? No
Is anything else happening? Buttons change to XBOX layout when online h2h, works fine offline
Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: I unistalled the game, tried ds4windows for controllers, recovering the app
