same here on PC, Franchise mode keeps disconnecting from ea servers. FIX IT ASAP!!
To confirm did this happen before or after you tried to sim?

This issue is very well documented and fairly consistent amongst everyone in online franchise. ANYTIME you sim advance a week, hire/fire a coach, edit, etc...you get the EA server connection message AFTER the attempt and kicked to the main menu over and over again. Online franchise in UNPLAYABLE because of this. Has been happening for nearly a week now for some but most definitely started after your Friday morning launch day "patch". The weeks in which in which it happen may vary from user to user but in my case it consistently repeatable post Week !! and always by Week 18. Please escalate this and as I have said in another thread either A) revert that patch from Friday B) Fix this ASAP or C) Refund us all 100% of our costs.

I posted my issues yesterday too but forgot to tag. Tons of players having this issue. Every time you sim, do any actions, or when you both log in it always kicks one or more from online franchise. Been happening since release. Happens every week the later you get in the season.
- kingchubby6923 years agoNew Traveler@EA_Illium It started happening week 5 of the regular season would happen after completing each stage of things upgrading players, skill points for coaching, practice with the players. Then after the game advancing the week it will give the same error. Then I got to week 9 and it won’t let me do anything anymore it just pops the error up as soon as I click to load into my franchise.

Hi EA Support team,
I'm on Xbox Series X (playing online franchise mode), and I also get server disconnects everytime I advance a week, try and use points on my skill tree for coaches, or even browse the franchise menus.
It's not an issue with my router, because my connections are all good, and my buddy also is getting the same kick after navigating menus and advancing weeks.
It's really frustrating.
- kingchubby6923 years agoNew Traveler@EA_Illium Can you speak with someone that controls the testing group to allow me access to test ea college football when testing starts so this same problem does not happen on the most anticipated game of the last decade. I have played both madden and college football every year they have been out since 2003. So please allow me access to test the franchise so we can find these problems prior to launch date. Summer 2024.

Are you guys even working on a solution. The game has been out for a week and thousand of people who paid not only for the game but for the extra early access haven’t even been able to play I can’t even connect to an online head to head this is the worst madden experience Iv ever had and it’s not even close and Iv been a loyal fan since madden on Super Nintendo….
- kingchubby6923 years agoNew Traveler@ud14il8m3xn8 They seem to be trying to figure out the problem based on the response back Iv gotten from the ea person on here. However still no ETA which is very frustrating. My guess is we are all getting told SOL till the end of the month when they do the first update. Sad but most likely the unfortunate truth. In my opinion if we don’t get an update tomorrow or Wednesday then I’m strongly going to consider just asking for a refund and saying I guess I won’t be playing madden this year first time since 2002.

Ya I’m right there with you. Really just sad that ea continues to treat the loyal fans of this game like this. It’s inexcusable, the games been out for a week and has been unplayable since day 1 just extremely disappointing.
- kingchubby6923 years agoNew Traveler@ud14il8m3xn8 Yea very disappointing day 1 at 703pm cst I loaded into the game on 8/14 first thing it does is throw up the EA server error. My friend and I decide we are going to just deal with the BS and create an offline franchise, 2 hours later at 906pm cst the servers allow me to connect and start the franchise, then as of 8/16 I’m to week 5 of regular season and I get the error after every task. I deal with the headache of having to close madden out reload back in after every task for 4 weeks get to week 9 and game is broken and unplayable. No lie I was and am beyond livid the game is unplayable it’s been this way since they brought MUT to the madden game I sware that is the route to all the server issues. Because prior to then madden game was solid had few glitches they would fix over the course of the game but nothing game breaking. Very sad they don’t care about the customer only taking our money for a poorly made game.

Yup literally the same thing with me and my two buddies and I agree once they brought ultimate team which I really have never liked it seemed to ruin everything else. They focus on that cuz people will spend more money for points and what not but They should literally mimic mlb the shows version and it would be much more fun imo. I feel like they don’t have a single person working on this game that has any experience actually playing this game at all or it wouldn’t be half as bad. Menus have always been slow since the next gen games and we have dealt with it but still makes zero sense. So many things they can do to clean up the experience and make it more enjoyable and every single year they just don’t care to fix it. It’s just a huge * you to all of us and we keep buying it cuz we love madden smh

Thanks for lettings us know what you've been running into with Madden NFL 24.
If you are running into an issue with Connecting to Franchise, please let us know the following information.
- Is this still happening?
- Can you access any other online modes?
- Where does the error occur, on clicking the Franchise tile or a Specific Save?
- Is the error with an online or Offline Franchise?
- If online what is the Franchise Save Called?
- If online can other players in the Franchise get into the Franchise Save?
- Can you Start a New online Franchise and access it correctly?
- Have you used the Default online Roster, or added any customer Rosters?
Also if you have not please let us know the following:

If on PC, please share an EA App Error ID

- kingchubby6923 years agoNew Traveler@EA_Illium I will test tonight after work my franchise on my break it finally let me on my franchise so we shall see how everything works later. Fingers crossed it works again.
