Franchise mode (Controller Icon stuck in middle) unable to move to either team

Summarize your bug All my franchise modes when I hit “Play Season Game” the controller icon is stuck in the middle… I can’t move it to left or right to chose team it’s glitched in middle. (It’ll let me hit “O to back out” but can’t actually play the game.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have no idea how this bug came about. It worked perfect last week just this week this bug has prevented me to play my online franchise modes with my friends.
What happens when the bug occurs? Per screenshot below you’ll see the controller icon stuck in middle… unable to move to either side to play game. All franchise modes have this glitch. PLEASE HELP!!
What do you expect to see? I’ve tried everything from deleting game and redownloading it, to checking system update and game update. I contacted EA sports.. Because of this bug I’m unable to play any franchise mode very frustrating so please comment if you’ve had same problem or know of a solution please!
