@49erfan81 Nope not at all. Smh !!!!!! To test out how bad madden sucks just go to commanders right tackle Andrew Wylie and receive the white box as there face scan and then you lose all other face scans and then your game will freeze momentarily after that lol. I can’t believe it’s been a week now. They haven’t even tried or announced there addressing this issue. I saw on another post they blamed the user complaining that his console was old or needed to be rebuilt or some $hit like that haha. Please someone fix this ASAP. If there were another football game to play then damn I think we all would of left already. But we are left with no choice. No way a refund will ever be issued ether. EA would rather update Arron rodgers who is hurt indefinitely overall rating up one more which makes zero sense than to help fix users game from freezing and making it completely unplayable since Sunday for me. It’s one week of crashing I don’t know how we could be having this issue in the year of 2023. Supposed to be better every year not worse. Make it make sense. Please let me know if anyone gets any updates or changes to there issue.
Same issue for me. Scrolling free agents or in player management, especially WR, after about 30-40 players the portraits disappear and the game hangs. I press “exit” and it freezes
i thought initially it was one specific player but I don’t think it is. I’ve tried 10 different roster files and it happens with a different guy each time. Usually around the 71-68 OVR rated WR (the ratings are irrelevant, that’s just how far down the list I can scroll before it breaks, about 40 players)
I downloaded and installed the game on my secondary PS4, so it was a fresh install, no saved data at all, no custom roster, first time I scrolled free agents it broke. So it’s definitely not a “rebuild the database” or “reinstall” fix. Something is fundamentally broken.
same behavior presents itself if you just scroll “player management”, regardless of position (all players in league not just free agents). After 10-15 seconds maybe, the portraits disappear and the game hangs.
also same behavior exists once you’re in franchise and doing roster cuts or depth charts. Scroll around enough and portraits disappear, replaced by NFL shield logo and game hangs
makes franchise mode literally unplayable.

@49erfan81 Yeah find it hard to believe if people are still having issues. Whatever they did on todays update was so clutch for me. Glad I can play the game again you know.
Strange occurrence the day after the recent update. I released Hardman from the Jets in order to move him to the Chiefs roster. The First time I did it, the game froze when I tried to have Chiefs sign FA Hardman. I restarted the game. I did the exact same thing the second time and this time the Chiefs were able to sign Hardman without the game freezing.
Has anyone been able to work with the Vikings including scrolling through and highlighting some of the receivers as well as temporarily reordering the depth chart with JJ being out??
@Andrewengel6 Yeah I just posted an update about the update a couple hours ago, and after a couple hours of tinkering around, everything seems to be working as intended again for those who are still curious about what's going on.
