Madden 24 PS5-EA Server keeps Disconnecting Mid-Games in different Game Modes

Hello,

Recently purchased a PS5 and the new Madden 24 online version. Game keeps constantly losing connection to EA Servers and boots me from online Franchise or MUT online gameplay back to the main menu. Have to sign back in and reload the games about 3-5 times to complete one game.

I looked into the following to no resolution:

  • Not an EA server maintenance issue
  • WiFi router isn't close enough to run ethernet
  • WiFi router signal is strong enough to stream multiple devices including online Nintendo Switch EA FC24 matches without any issues
  • Moved PS5 closer to WiFi router to no improvement.
  • All system and game updates were made and PS5 was restarted.

I am at a loss of what to do since this is a brand new system and everything seems to working outside the EA server connection remaining consistent to Madden 24.

Appreciate any resolutions.

    when you have a moment can we try the following steps?

    • Clear the systems cache (Close the game completely > Turn off the console > Wait 30-60 seconds > Restart and Relaunch)
    • Verify you signed into your PSN account
    • Check for updates 
    • Restore Licence
    • Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides 
    • Open your PS5 NAT Type
    • Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)  
    • Entering Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database

    I'm having the same exact issue, I've already completed your troubleshooting steps. Those are the first things I did. I also haven't had the ps5 long myself and EVERYTHING else works perfectly. It's just Madden that's the issue. I have taken screenshots of the connection dropping, as well as a network test within 10 seconds and my internet was over 130mbps. I've tried to submit a ticket and for some reason you guys won't even let me, it says the page is down over and over again. 

  • I’m having the exact same issue but only playing Madden ultimate team challenges. I don’t have the issue in other game modes or while playing college football
