Summarize your bug I haven’t actually experienced the bug yet but I have heard from multiple people that if you don’t accept the contract your team gives you after the 4 years of playing the free agency bugs out and you are forced to retire your player. This is upsetting because I was going to try and sign with a new team but I don’t dare decline the contract in fear that I won’t be able to play as my character anymore. This bug needs to be fixed immediately and it’s ridiculous that you can lose a character because you didn’t like the new contract you are offered.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go through the contract you are given in superstar mode as a rookie and decline the new contract in an attempt to try out free agency.
What happens when the bug occurs? Either nothing happens or the signing of the new contract doesn’t work forcing you to click retire player.
What do you expect to see? You see a button that says retire player.

this just happened to me today...I was given an offer to stay with the patriots as a CB...I was only given the option to accept it...then it gave me an option for the bears and accepted it to...then took me to retirement...kinda lame.
