This worked for me on win10 pc madden nfl 24. Game launched 9 out of 10 tries using the madden nfl 24 desktop shortcut which is a huge improvement for me. Game will load quicker now when working.

Turn OFF "Control flow guard (CFG)
CFG Doesnt work.. EA app still opens, but goes to black screen, and ctd's back to the app.. Same if I use the .exe on desktop, crashes to app, because the app still opens.

Well Im happy for you stem users, some of us bought our game on the Ea app, and there isnt any cfg option for the app.. I tried the cfg directly on the exe and still didnt work, but thanks for the useless info. Its got me thinking some of you are paid trolls by the sounds of it.. Nothing any EA app user can use, just useless steam information.
Found this for anyone on EA app.. Im still trying to get mine to work, but found my game was placed under admin control somehow, but my game loads to the black screen without crashing.. gonna keep at it to see if i cn get the game working.

After taking off admin control, uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting the laptop, it still crashes from the black screen back to the app... Im done, I just cant with ea anymore. The gme was working perfectly and now it doesnt..
