I have the exact same problem. I’ve contacted ea help multiple times and have only been told to uninstall and reinstall my game to see it that would fix it. When I told them it didn’t they just told me to come here and hope the community mangers see it. The fact that this has been a problem for years and hasn’t been fixed yet is embarrassing. The same issue carried over multiple titles and they can’t seem to fix it or have just completely ignored the problem it’s self.

I'm losing hope. I've played MUT solo battles, House rules, challenges, quick play, online H2H.
All of them froze at different points, even the smallest game modes like MUT challenges (i.e. 4 mins!)
This is an obvious software bug within the game. I'm not going to let anyone gaslight me into thinking it's a console hardware issue or something else. The game itself is broken.
