Physical disc Madden 24 won't copy to PS5
I've searched and haven't seen this issue.
I downloaded the trial of Madden 24 to my PS5, liked it, bought the physical copy for the PS5. deleted the trial, put the disc in, then the game started to copy/install the contents. Every time I try, I get an error (no code) saying the copy failed and it couldn't install it.
I have fully deleted everything Madden related multiple times and tried over and over again. Each time it gets about halfway to 25-ish GB and errors out.
I have also completely cleared the software cache of the PS5 and tried the PS5 fix of repairing the database from safe mode.
Any ideas of what I can do?
It may be worthwhile checking if the disc works on a friends console if possible.
If this is potentially a damaged disc (possibly not visibly damaged), reaching out to your retailer is advised.
