"QB slide"/Ballcarrier "give up" controls not working correctly

Summarize your bug I just recently received Madden 24 for PS5. The "QB slide" is not working correctly, neither is ball carrier "give up". Instead, the QB/ball carrier low dives forward. I am beyond the LOS, and I tap square🟪. I've noticed that some QBs slide, like Aaron Rogers, and Jordan Love, while other QBs won't, like Kyler Murray, Justin Fields, and Will Levis. To note, although Aaron Rogers and Jordan Love can QB slide, I can't get them to low dive forward for extra yards if desired. These issues occur in practice mode as well. I have Madden 23 on Xbox Series X, and I don't have these problems. I believe there is a glitch or bug with Madden 24's controls on PS5. Please fix.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Please try to "QB slide" with multiple QBs. I'm sure you'll find that this function isn't working correctly. Please also try to "give up" with any ball carrier. Either these animations has changed from Madden 23, or there is a glitch.
What happens when the bug occurs? The QB doesn't slide feet 1st. The ball carrier doesn't quickly fall to the ground to attempt to avoid a tackle like in Madden 23.
What do you expect to see? When I tap square beyond the line of scrimmage, I expect the QB to slide. When I tap square beyond the line of scrimmage, or on kick returns, I expect the ball carrier to "give up".
