Your console is almost certainly overheating. 

Vacuum away any dust/lint from the air vents, fan and heatsinks and store the console out in the open rather than in an enclosed cabinet.

    @EA_Barry I do not think that is the issue, as I do not have this problem with other games, and I already have done the steps you've suggested. Also, the console is no hotter to the touch than normal. Do you have any other potential solutions? The live chat told me to contact Sony, but I am not sure why it is only a problem with Madden 24. Thank you!!!

    I have the same issue as this person tried all the steps he did and cleaned it thoroughly

    Highly unlikely it’s a dust problem, but if it is the damage has already been done and it’s permanent. It’s slow on all consoles right now compared to pc. Multiple crashes might be linked to overheating, or you have a hardware issue. Are you able to run everything else with no problems?

    I have the same issue. If this game bricks my PS5 because they can’t acknowledge their game is the problem, I have no issue filing in small claims with them. It’s a documented issue that they refuse to recognize.
