To confirm for the trial message, this is something you will see when launching the Xbox GamePass version. You can click past this message to continue playing. 

Secondly, the Xbox Cloud versions will play the Xbox console version of the game, If you have made progress on the Xbox version you will see that progress when game streaming with Xcloud. 

However if you are playing on PC this is a different version of the game, which would be why you do not see your progress.
