I am using it through Game pass Ultimate. No I have not had an issue before with it at all. MysteriousViper is the tag. I am using my home Xbox Series X. 

I actually was playing 2023 Madden before today and it was fine! Thank you for your help when you see this. 

The other account purchased the game. The account hoiv has EA play on it.

• If you are gaming sharing, download the game on the main account (that owns Gamepass/EA Play) then try to download it on your account
• Check for updates 
• Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides 
• Open you're Xbox NAT Type
• Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)  
• Persistent Storage 
• Go to settings > Select Device & Connections > Then Blue-Ray 
• Select Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage 
• Alternate Mac: 
• Go to settings > Select General  > Then Network settings 
• Go to advanced settings > Alternate Mac address > Select clear 
• Select restart

Welp, tried each of those. I now am deleting it and redownloading it again, but did the persistent storage and deleted the save everywhere on XBox. 

And I took a picture of it

EA can yall just do what yall did last time like this is very annoying like it should be a fix for this already. At this point whenever the game is back up and running yall have to give us something because this is just unnecessary and stupid

I download madden 24 from gamepass and got a ea play error and I unistalled and re installed and still got the same error and never got the trial

i have game pass, but my brother bought it and i game share, we both have game pass also

I got the game from ea play that is included in the game pass ultimate when I loaded the game up it let me choose my settings and play a trial with different passing types but when I went to play the game it says “ea play trial” and below that it says “this trial can only be played on the account that downloaded it. Please sign back into that account and restart the game to continue your progress” I only have the one account on my Xbox and I restarted the game and my Xbox and still shows the message .

It’s happening to me as well apparently this is been going on since it released.. I was really looking forward to this game 

Gamertag: "lxTHRILLAxl" has game pass, EA play and bought the game is game sharing with "GameFame2375" which also has game pass and EA play but is getting the "EA Trial error"
