@EA_Illium Every time I try to log into my Franchise, I encounter errors. If I don't encounter them as soon as I log in, usually I will be able to get a training drill in, and then the error will populate, erasing my progress. The error I encounter is "Connection lost. We are unable to connect to EA servers. Please try again later. See ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information. You have been returned to the main menu." Something to that effect.
I will provide the information you're requesting, but it's a ridiculous ask to begin with - If you look on X, Reddit, or even here, you would see that this is happening to players playing online Franchise on every single platform, and in very large numbers. Please do not tell me it is my machine, my network, or anything else - this is 100% a problem on EA's end, and I am not stupid enough to believe otherwise.
Platform: EA App (PC)
PSN ID/Xbox GT: PallorAbsentis94 (EA tag)
Region: United States
Are you getting an error message?: Yes, the following error: "Connection lost. We are unable to connect to EA servers. Please try again later. See ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information. You have been returned to the main menu"
Date this issue started (is it still happening?)? It started for the first time on Friday (8/18), when "maintenance" was ongoing, and has gotten progressively worse throughout the weekend
Is anything else happening?: No
Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: None. This is an EA issue and I do not have the ability to impact it.
If on PC, please share a DxDiag (Allows us to get PC Spec's, Check for errors/crashes, and look at drivers): DxDiag is attached
Honestly, more than anything, I want for SOMEONE at EA to acknowledge this issue and tell us when they expect it to be fixed. I know your company would rather I open my wallet and play that trash excuse for a game mode Ultimate Team, but I will not. You're lucky you managed to screw me out of the money for this game, and you're not gonna screw me out of more. Part of what I expected when I gave your company money for this product was to be able to play the Franchise mode that has been in these games for like 20 years. Being unable to do so is not acceptable, and I really, really hope someone finds a way to sue your company for deceptive marketing and totally bankrupt Electronic Arts.
That said, I know you're just a guy doing a job, so thank you for your help. Just please do not feed me some line like "Your ping is too high".
