reason for the season Error Our servers cannot process your request at this time

So I guess this is a rather common issue. Like many others, I got disconnected at the end of the game and now I'm unable to start a new game. I get the error: "Our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later" and then get booted to main menu. This is the only way to grind the new currency effectively so this issue ruins the entire Zero Chill update. By the way, for others having this issue, help.ea support staff are clueless and just send you here so don't waste your time with that.
