Xbox one S slow menu lag ever since Season 2 update

Same on PS4. It appears to be an old gen system issue. It's concerning because I've spent quite a bit of money on ultimate team and now it's virtually unusable and I have not seen 1 reply from EAsports about this issue 

Same here. It’s unbearable. 

When I play Madden 24 on Xbox One, it seems to be freezing an awful lot now. I know it isn’t my system, because I’ve cleaned it. I done everything to troubleshoot this problem but it STILL present. I think it’s the recent Update that happened and it’s causing it to freeze. FIX your game EA! This wasn’t happening before until YOU GUYS did this “MASSIVE” update. Anyway the freeze would come about when trying to do a simple action in a menu, to be exact, in the Trading, and Free Agents menu and as recently as a few moments ago, this morning during game play. It doesn’t happen with any other game, just this game.. It’s not just happening to me, it’s happening to people that I ask. Fix this! If you guys say you care, then  give us what we want, we want a game that’s ACTUALLY playable and not have any problems. 

We have the same issue. Fix it! I didn't pay for a game I can't play and I don't like to waste money. We are EA games members so I'm paying for that every month as well. Not real happy at this point. 

Yep same issue. Thousands of hours of grinding and now it’s virtually unplayable. EA we need this fixed asap before everyone else has their teams built up and the rest of us are stuck with the same lineup from season 1!!!!

At least I’m not the only one who has this problem. It’s rendered non-playable to me. I’d be lucky if I get one game in before it freezes. I hope that these people see this and it gets fixed. It’s messing with valuable playing time.

EA can you guys do something about this?? I have been wanting to play and have seen you guys release new cards but us on old gen still can’t play and it’s hella frustrating

What is ea doing about the major lag in the menus on old gen ??
