I made a post about this too, really don't even feel like playing franchise because of the poor position terminology and how it affects cpu teams. It would be so easy to rename the positions and give players secondary positions if they can play multiple positions in that set and they'd only need to set player preferences for the side of the ball they'd be on.
If they changed position terminology it would also help with rating certain players more accurately like having a corner who's great in the slot but bad outside be rated high without misrepresenting the players skillset. Would help MUT as well since people switch from 4-3 to 3-4 frequently.
