Evidence of recycling games

I feel like this game having the same name as the 2013 game is a subtle nod to how EA keeps recycling the same game every year. 😂

Shout out to another fellow veteran of the game and of life- I’m an old guy here- ex athlete -lover of sports especially football and I agree Madden has leaped forward in graphics and such. The Ps5 is helping - though the PC would be better.

But with that - comes things I don’t like - I understand everyone plays differently- my problem is they have taken away options over the years -this is something I don't understand about EA

Coach Mode - the real coach mode - Not the one EA half assed a couple of three years ago where you have to take the controller and kick or scramble with you cpu Quarterback - I’m talking about a Coach Mode where you do just that COACH- call plays make your gameplay- broadcast camera ect ect.

But they took that out as an option - why? It doesn’t interfere with other game modes, it’s just an option.
Super sim isn’t the same …Probably will never get those modes again even as a OPTION.

This game is greatly improved. I can see and feel the changes every year. I don't miss any other football games by a rival to easports. This is my 22nd year in a row my Madden nfl game collection grows.

This is how I look at it.  NFL 2K5 had almost everything we want in a game and Madden had to work hard to sell their game.  They are now just working on physics, which 2K5 had figured out.  Madden is improving but it has taken them a really long time.  But they also hold a monopoly over NFL simulation games which is pathetic.  NFL2K25 would probably be like watching the real game.

  • The only thing that might be true that would come remotely close to that is if the Tiburon team has two Madden teams, each working on the game for about a year and a half, and then merging the two for each release. That would explain why every odd year iteration feels a little closer to the previous odd year Madden than the previous even year Madden does, and the same for the even years. But there is no real evidence for that, and there's certainly no evidence they "recycle" games from ten years ago. Borrow ideas from? Sure, in fact that's probably likely, since some of the newest additions to the Madden team come from that era as players of Madden. But "recycle?" Not likely.

  • It's slowly slowly getting back there. 24 wasn't to bad compared to the last 6 years if they keep moving forward it'll be on point again in 3-4 years hopefully lol
