I keep getting same playbook no matter what i change to online not using custom playbook either

It seems you can't use custom playbooks in h2h in this version of Madden. This is a travesty! If I had known this I may not have purchased this version. I really hope they consider returning this option to Madden 25.

I prefer to have my own custom playbook, seeing how I NEVER use shotgun... But alas, custom playbooks aren't available "at launch" according to Clint Oldenburg's post on the EA Madden NFL 25 website. https://www.ea.com/en/games/madden-nfl/madden-nfl-25/news/gridiron-notes-madden-25-gameplay-deep-dive. The wording makes me believe that custom playbooks will make a return in a subsequent patch; hopefully the first update. Fingers crossed...
That said, I have noticed that my Playbook is set to my custom PBs for Online H2H Regs, but when I go into the ADVANCED OPTIONS prior to every game the PB is set to ARI on offense and defense. I have to change it to West Coast every game (more under center formations).
It's a headache, but I deal with it, for now.
