Madden NFL 25 has officially launched as of August 16th!

Ok this is for everyone who purchased the MVP Bundle. I understand there is a lot of confusion and worrying going because you are unable to pre-download Madden 25. Just to clarify this is not a XBOX or PLAYSTATION issue. This is an EA issue. It is unknown if they intended for it to be this way or if its just something they messed up on there end. The reason you are unable to pre-download Madden 25, is because instead of bundling College Football 25 with an the actual physical game of Madden 25, they just listed it as an add-on. Which is why it basically seems like you dont even own the game, but I can assure you, that you do. Just at the moment there is no game it's just an add-on. Tomorrow August 12th at 4PM EST the add-on will become a game, that you can download and play. I understand this is very frustrating because we all would like to have the game pre-downloaded, so that it is ready to play when the game releases. Like I said it is unknown if EA intentionally chose to do it this way, or if they messed up. So again, please do not worry anymore, Madden 25 will be available to download tomorrow August 12th at 4PM EST. Also, for those of you that remotely downloaded the game from the XBOX app. That is not a solution, because that is the wrong version of the game, you do not own that version. So I recommend just uninstalling that version, so you can download the correct one tomorrow. It is very frustrating that EA has not said anything about this known issue themselves, even with so many people experiencing this issue. I hope this update on the known issue, helps give everyone peace of mind. Any questions or concerns, please comment on this post and I will do my best to answer as many as I can. Thank you.

There are a couple of interesting takeaways from this whole story:
Exactly, very poor communication on behalf of EA, and XBOX is not out of the woods yet either, because they have yet to comment on the issue as well. After speaking to a few reps, both parties have acknowledged the known issue, and have stated that a solution is being worked on currently and have said the game will be available at the 4PM release time. But no official statement has been made at this time by either party. Like I have said I will do my best to continue doing my do-diligence in searching for an update/solution.
@jokerface1030This is not good way to roll this out, especially without communication. You know what the user is accustomed to based on the XBox Store experience. You're setting yourselves up for frustrated and confused people.
Especially when people who didn't buy this bundle havve the normal store experience and can PRE LOAD the game. Unforced error on EA's part. And how would I have known this would be the rollout unless I knew to google and happen to find this forum?

Yes you said it perfectly. This is the first time they have bundled to pre-order games into one bundle, and they dropped the ball pretty bad on this one. I have learned that playstation users are able to download the game from what I have seen, so it is now unclear as to if this is a problem with XBOX or EA. I am confident that the game will be available to download across all platforms regardless of which bundle you bought at 4PM EST. But if anyone is still worried or stressed out, you can call Microsoft and have them issue a refund for the MVP bundle, then proceed to purchase both College Football 25 and Madden 25 separately. I mean it defeats the purpose of the MVP bundle because you are losing the $55 dollars you were saving in the first place. But it is an option for in one who is stressing. If you do decide to take this route Madden 25 will be available to pre-download at time of purchase. But for everyone who is planning on riding this out till the end along with me, I will do my best to keep talking to reps at EA and XBOX, seeking an update or a solution. I will keep everyone updated. As for the future I will just be buying each game separately, I am done with pre-order bundles. First and last lol.
