User on Defense auto switch to different Player

yeah same im also on pc and they didnt take into the fact that pc players cant use switch stick,i literally just user dlineman but also,in superstar mlb it glitches out and i cant even move in coverage im just stuck in place,and theres no setting to turn switch stick off,it sucks.

It sure does, I hope they can fix this for us PC players. Do they check these discussions here on Answers HQ?

Also I found out that if you blitz the player you want to user, you won't be automatically switched to another player. So I can actually user my MLB. It just is very annoying to blitz the guy every snap and if the opposing team is in hurry up, I barely have time to switch on my player and then also blitz him.

Yeah it’s not just you PC guys we're all having this issue bc I’m on Xbox and it happens to me every online game. Switches me to a CB mid play when I didn’t try to switch at all and cause me to give up a free touchdown. 

Yea I noticed if I’m setting up pre play or holding B to cycle through my players  while using left stick and the ball is hiked it switches you, the dpad also acts as a switch stick as well an will move you to other players . They have to switch how it reacts and or let users make adjustments on how it’s done if possible 

yep same thing...lm used to madden switching to the defender closest to the ball, last night as i was usering my DT and Lamar decided to escape the pocket i clicked on what should have been my DE since he was closest and had great angle to make the tackle..NOPE, switched to my CB that was gaurding is WR about 15 yards deep, so of course now im controlling CB unbeknownst to me and take him completely out of the play leaving WR wide open for long TD when it should have been a sack..hopefully this gets fixed

100% dude. Thank you for writing this. That is a perfect description of the issue. It is beyond me how switching a player now (even before snap switching players while touching stick at all gets offsides called when I play) is now a gamble once play starts

Same thing has been happening to me a lot on console and it’s really annoying me. When the play starts and I’m usering d line if I try to switch to one with a good angle to sack the qb it just switches to a random cb. Once the play starts I can’t switch to a d line men. Have you found any way to fix this?
