Madden NFL 25 is under maintenance right now, which means you can’t play online.
Once maintenance is complete, you should be good to go.
All modes are locked, can’t even put my ps5 into offline mods and play because everything is locked. Can’t even open the news option because I “don’t have access”. I paid 70$ for this god damn game. It’s almost 11am mountain time and the “maintenance” was scheduled for 6am eastern. No way it takes over 5 hours to fix something. @EA_Barry yall really need to fix this within the hour or you’d better start handing out refunds because this is ridiculous!!! It’s like the 5th year in a row madden has had a game breaking glitch, more than once. I feel like I wasted my money and to be honest the game isn’t even good, you just don’t let anyone else make nfl games so I’m forced to play it. This is ridiculous and shows how weak the development team is and how little they care about the player base. If you are updating the online mode I should be able to play franchise no issues I don’t even play online franchise anyway so what’s the deal!?!?! This is the second time this * happened in the last 2 months and honestly, I just want a refund, and I refuse to support this * company any more and nobody else should either.
