Okay, I didn't know if the disk would be better or not. That is the only variable that I can think of.
On the steps for the alternate DNS I have a PS5 does that matter? I see in the steps it doesn't list PS5, but I assume it's the same as PS4, but want to make sure before doing anything.
I just don't understand how my connections work with every game, even other EA games and even other modes within the same game being Madden 25' but the MUT team is doing this. It's mind boggling and I see there's thousands out the with the same issue. It makes my think it's something internal with EA, but together we are going to figure this out, right?

Community ManagerThose instructions should still work for PS5. They might be slightly different, but you can still update the DNS on PS5.
We're not aware of anything on our end causing disconnects. Normally, that is an ISP or equipment issue. Especially when there's a relatively low number of people with these reports. When there's an outage on our end, we hear from a huge part of the community.
Are you still playing over a wire or did you switch back to wireless?
Its obviously them, not your guys setup or settings. They keep replying with these generic questions like "have you tried using an ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi" to deflect and put the ball back with you. I have the same issues and - like you guys - Madden is literally the only online title I encounter these with which in and of itself is evidence that its EA/Madden not the router, PS5, or anything else. They just dont care.
If I was a betting man I would say it's for sure an EA issue. It just doesn't make sense that no other game title has issues, only the Madden 25.
I would say at least 50% of the people I match up with in Madden 25 MUT say the same thing is happening to them. I get people on my YouTube stream too popping in and asking if I know of a fix because EA told them it was an issue with their connection. We just need enough people to keep posting to EA I guess before they will care and look into their issue. I don't understand how they can reply with stating it's our connection or equipment if it's only this game and game mode. Another thing that's odd is it only just started 3-4 weeks ago too. Mind boggling!
You were right on the DNS settings too by the way; it did nothing to resolve the issue. Again, just like you said...why would Madden 25 have a specific set of settings it needs to run when no other game works.

We're not aware of any issues currently and with the low amount of reports, it's looking to be ISP/equipment related. As a test, can you switch to using a mobile hotspot to see if that makes a difference? This is only as a test. It would help narrow this down to being an ISP/equipment issue if it works.
As far as why it could be connection related is because every game is different. They also don't all immediately disconnect when packets are lost. Our sports games do this though. Once there's enough packet loss, the disconnect occurs. Every game is also on different servers. Your ISP could be having an issue with the routing. There are a million different variables that make up a solid connection. Tracking down what is causing this is not easy. Especially when we have a very low number of reports when compared to the overall playerbase.
That didn't work, updating the DNS yielded the same issue again, still the EA Server Disconnected after two games.
Like always though, I'm not losing connection on my live stream either. It doesn't make sense that all "my connection" settings would affect only Madden 25 and not any other game. In fact, it only affects Madden 25 in MUT, not even in regular head to head. How could my connection being the issue make any sense here? One would think as well if it was an ISP issue then my live stream would drop and I'd lose my audio party chat too but I don't.
I'm thinking it's affecting a lot more people but they just aren't' saying anything. Everyday I encounter at least 50% of the people I play who are experiencing the same issue but they haven't reported it because they say EA won't do anything about it; or EA did reply telling them it was their connection and they gave up.
Yes, I went to a wire because that's what you said would fix it. Made no sense to me that this MUT game mode within Madden 25 is the only game that I'd have to do a wired connection on, but I've tried it and nothing has changed. So I spent more money trying to fix an issue that doesn't appear to be an issue on my end.
Here's a series question though and maybe you've missed it in previous posts. How can it be my connection or equipment if the only game this is happening on is Madden 25' and how come it's only the MUT game mode within the game that it's happening with? To me that points to an issue with the MUT server or severs.
