EA Server Disconnects

EA ID (PSN ID/Gamertag): Hophoppe

Which platform are you on? Playstation 5

Are you getting an error message? Yes, error notice that I've been disconnected from EA Servers. I am immediately able to reconnect, but any on-going game will be counted as a loss. This destroys progress. 

This ocurrs in any game type in MUT. This occurs many times per day.

Does this only happen in one game mode? No, effectively all modes within MUT.

Please share any steps you've tried so far to resolve the issue:

I looked into the following thus far:

  • Not an EA server maintenance issue.
  • WiFi router has been reset and ISP contacted.
  • Modem has been reset and ISP contacted.
  • All system and game updates were made and PS5 has restarted many times.
  • License has been reapplied in PS5 Settings. 
  • EA ticket has been provided, and closed with "No Fix"
  • Multiple posts here have been commented on and opened. No resolution has been obtained. 
  • The "Connection Quality Report" is either not operational or not viable for accessing on Playstation 5. Maybe additional guidance cam be provided here.
  • I've messaged moderator on EA Pulse in attempt to escalate. No help.
  • I've contacted EA Help on Twitter (X) and the automated service is completely useless. 
  • I've uninstalled the game: the only solution is to not have the game, and therefore the issue cannot be encountered. 

I refuse to re-download the game to obtain more evidence of the issue. I will entertain possible solutions, outside of that, I will continue to post on these boards and elsewhere online to advertise the only solution available: Uninstall.

    @Hophoppe 

    This is very common with wireless connections. Can you try switching to a wire to see if makes a difference?

    Don't worry, EA will always blame it onyou. It must be a WiFi problem, or if you are actually wired, the cable must be at fault. EA and their games' optimization is never at fault, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM customer, only you. EA would never release any sports games without troubleshooting all possible errors or investing properly in their servers, year after year. And players who sepnd money on their games are definitely not doing beta testing of their games for free, the same issues are not happening with every installment etc. This is all lies, haters need to go! If you still have a problem with connection, buy a better cable, a better modem, a better computer, a better house, actually buy the whole broadband company to make sure that you have a stable connection and never ever blame EA for anything...and remember - do not sneeze while playing, EA servers are very sensitive and can disconnect if you do so.
