Game Freezing Since Last Week Series X

Title.

  Since last week, game freezes at various points and I have to close it down and re-open.   It's on my internal drive not SSD expansion. 

 I've tried the troubleshooting steps I've seen but I've never had this type of issue with a game.

   Don't know what to do, really frustrated...
