Madden 25 Crash on play pick

Haven't had this type of issue on any other game, but hopefully this helps

I'm having this issue, madden 24 worked fine for me. Not sure what to do, I've tried all the suggestions in this thread and re installed the game....

i uninstalled Rog Armory same thing still crashed going to try to uninstall and reinstall it tonight i guess

We want to snag more info from you if you can. 

If you uninstalled the items that EA_Blueberry suggested and they are still crashing, please attach the following for us.

Look at your Reliability monitor and attach this file:

• Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
• Copy and paste "perfmon /rel" (without the quotes) in the new Window > hit “ENTER.”
• Look if it has entries for the game executable or EA app.
• If yes, double-click the last entry for the game executable or EA app, copy the information, and save it to a text file.
• Once saved, could you attach it to the thread?

Also, if you have specific playbooks you set up, or downloaded, I would suggest removing them and testing it.

From the main menu (not UT)
Click creation center > load/delete files
Click All
Delete all files except franchise/Team Builder (if this applies)
Skip all offline files

One further step that I took that worked quite a bit in 24 was editing your best lineup, choosing a different jersey, and testing it. The jersey in QP is the only option, but I'd like to see if making these changes and then trying to play works.

Lastly, if you can test it, change the following:

NFL Playbooks option to 'Off" in the advanced settings

Settings: turn off "crossplay"

Graphic settings: turn off "ambient occlusion"

Had the same issue. Solution, that worked for me:
1) settings: turn off "crossplay"

2) graphic settings: turn off "ambient occlusion"

yeah turning off ambient occlusion worked just now for me, thanks

I am having the same issue did you get it fixed by any chance? I just bought it and I haven't even been able to play yet

As I said earlier, turn off "ambient occlusion" in graphic settings
