Madden 25 Not Launching on PC

Question

I bought madden 25 from steam, and was able to play it fine from my original device. I am now trying to install it and play it on a different new device and keep running into an issue where the game loads the splash screen and then quits after the splash screen finishes and opens the EA app.

I don't get any crash messages or anything, it just closes without any cause.

I already reinstalled the game. Reinstalled the EA app. I tried reinstalling and updating the anticheat, and giving the game security permissions but the issue persists.

Any advice? I saw similar issues faced by other people, which they seemingly weren't able to solve but was fixed in a patch on 12/05, but I am only facing the issue starting 12/21 when I tried installing and playing on my new device.

Download and install all available Windows Updates
Make sure your display is connected to your GPU and not the motherboard video output
Run System File Checker to ensure the integrity of your Windows System files: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
Perform a clean boot before starting the game: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 or http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
Check your machine meets the below requirements:

Minimum:

Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system

I tried all of these steps, and am still facing the same issue.
My display is connected to GPU and I meet all system requirements.

I notice that the EaAntiCheatService is never running in the system services, and I see the following logs in event viewer upon each unsuccessful launch attempt.

"File System Filter 'EAAntiCheat' (10.0, ‎2024‎-‎12‎-‎12T08:39:40.000000000Z) has successfully loaded and registered with Filter Manager."

Followed shortly by

"File System Filter 'EAAntiCheat' (Version 10.0, ‎2024‎-‎12‎-‎12T08:39:40.000000000Z) unloaded successfully."
