Super Star Showdown Unknown Error Please Try Again Later

I was playing today in superstar showdown mainly squads and all of a sudden it gives me a "unknown error please try again later" message. It kicks me out everytime i try to go into showdown mode. Get...

Just wanted to follow up with this. If you get this error it is for certain the rank badge icon on the team pass giving this. Even though the team pass renewed on Wed my rank is still tied to that particular badge on the team pass. The only way for it to work is when Superstar Showdown ranks gets a reset which looks like it wont for season 8. I ended up making another EA account and it works. just a heads up for anyone.
