Superstar Mode Won't Connect

Title says it all, Superstar mode needs an internet connection to function.  For the last 3 hours a connection has not been possible.  I was able to extensively my internet through other apps and games on my system and can assure you, the internet is working fine on my end.  I can even connect to other EA games, just not this one, the one I want to play.
