Bad connection issue

Why does every time I play a ranked game it says I have connection issues or my opponent does it’s literally every game and I do a internet test and my internet is fine 500 megabites download 12 upload is that not enough I’m starting to get very angry because I can’t play at all with it because it’s super laggy
