Received a loss when opponent quits

Haven’t played since I got a loss when I was up 14 in my Super Bowl was up 14 in my playoff game and my opponent quit and I received a loss. How is this an issue I can’t progress and make coins unless I win my playoffs and I constantly get screwed out of them
