EA Sports MVP Bundle Problems
I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with the EA SPORTS™ MVP Bundle on PS5, and I’m hoping someone here might be able to help. I purchased the bundle on October 17, 2024, which includes:
- Deluxe Edition of Madden NFL 25
- Deluxe Edition of College Football 25
- 4600 Madden Points
- 4600 College Football Points
- Additional Deluxe content
The issue is that I cannot download or access the Deluxe Editions or any of the bundle’s content. When I try, I get this error message:
"This product is unavailable for the following reasons: You already own the following products, which conflict with the product you're trying to buy: Tracker for CFB AFB Bundle."
I’ve gone back and forth with PlayStation support and EA support multiple times. PlayStation says this is a developer issue that EA needs to fix, while EA keeps directing me back to PlayStation or suggesting I request a refund. I’m completely stuck, and neither side is taking ownership of the issue.
What I’ve Tried So Far:
- Restarted my PS5.
- Restored licenses on PS5.
- Checked for updates.
- Uninstalled and reinstalled both games (multiple times).
- Checked for hidden content in the library.
- Performed two factory resets on my PS5.
- Verified my purchase receipt (the order #)
- Asked PlayStation support to remove the "Tracker for CFB AFB Bundle," but they said EA needs to handle it.
- EA Said that it's a Playstation issue.
- Tried downloading the Deluxe Editions directly but was prompted to pay again.
- Confirmed the issue persists across different profiles on the same console.
Why a Refund Isn’t a Solution:
I don’t want a refund because:
- I want the content I paid for, especially the Deluxe Editions.
- The Standard Editions are already downloaded and used as classroom rewards (I’m a teacher), so I can’t lose those either.
Request for Help:
- Has anyone else encountered this issue with the "Tracker for CFB AFB Bundle"?
- Is there any way to manually delete or fix this entitlement issue?
- Can EA manually grant access to the Deluxe Editions to resolve this?
Any advice, solutions, or direction would be greatly appreciated. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I just want the content I paid for.
