Madden 25 head to head playbooks

I play with the bills playbook (offence and defence). If I play franchise mode, no problem. If I do the skills practice training, no problem. But the moment I do online head to head the playbook changes to something totally random, none of my favourite plays are there and the plays which are are really limited. I’ve tried everything but it still messes up on head to head. Is this a bug or am I missing something?
