No, I have not moved the PS5 to a friend's house. Not sure when I will get the chance.
As for resetting console or deleting PSN ID, I think the delete gamertag is possible, but there is no way I'm resetting the PS5 to factory settings. I have too many games on the hard drives and don't want to reload them all.
I'll see if I can get a refund (that includes my pre-order for FC25 as I don't want to go through this again in a month) and just keep playing other games.
Edit*** Looks like resetting PS5 does not lose game with need to redownload.
Community ManagerYou can restore the default settings without deleting games. This is done in Safe Mode. You can also try clearing the cache and rebuilding the database. Possibly, those will help.
