Re: Epic challenges

@tyanko1996 for me it is down by ten and win by 8+ points (so at least score 18 points). something seems to be buggy here.

also the clock is already running during kickoff...

It’s annoying. Chew clock is on so there is no way you can do it

Has anyone figured out how to beat this challenge?  I have the same issue and have been trying to beat it for 3 days now. It seems you will need to score on defense to win, but nothing I do creates a turnover or pick 6.

First: yes, I've managed to complete this challenge (incl. the bonus objective) with my 82 OVR team after trying it about 100 times. With a non-maxed out team it is pretty tough to stop 3-4 drives of Vick with his offense and I was pretty lucky when I managed to complete the challenge incl. the bonus objective.

Second: no, it is not even worth trying to complete it. The pack I got contained 3x 75 OVR and 2x 77 OVR players. 300 coins and this almost worthless pack. It is just a ridiculous reward for this tough challenge!

Third: In principle, I would love such difficult "challenges" (does not mean that it has to be "Solo Challenges", it should be just a challenging Solo mode...), but it should be worth spending my time. Having to play hours and hours should be worth at least something meaningful...

How did I manage to complete the challenge:

    • Very important for my strategy (in order to be able to stick to only one play on offense and defense each): I noticed that it doesn't count for the ‘each play may only be used twice’ if you choose a standard audible play. I just always selected a play from the formation my preferred play was in and then switched to the play I wanted. This meant that I could always select my preferred play. I think when you audible the play, the counter is set for the first of the four available plays (but I'm not sure). This also does not work if you modify the audible plays so you will have to choose from the available audibles of your playbook.
    • First, I always went all-in on defense and always selected Mid Blitz 0 out of the Nickel Double Mug (I use the 49ers playbook but I think it is available in a lot of other playbooks too). Every First Down of your Opponent hurts a lot in terms of time. My strategy was either stop him as soon as possible or restart the Challenge.
    • On offense I always tried to go out of bounds every single play in order to avoid getting tackled and to stop the clock. I've used PA X Cross Burst out of Singleback Wing Pair from the 49ers Playbook to do that.
    • Finally: I had to retry several times and it took me hours to get everything wrong (in particular stopping my opponent's offense was the most difficult task since my players are not even fast enough to stop a scrambling Vick. The key was to sack him on every drive at least once to stop the drive. And in the final drive I was really lucky because I managed to intercept Vick in my own endzone on First & Goal...

Summarising: it is definitely feasible to complete this challenge, even with a mediocre team. But it is very tough. And if you do not have a very good lineup I would not even try it again if I knew this ridiculous rewards before...
