Are you playing on Steam?

If yes, open up Big Picture mode and go to the controller settings.

Click Menu in the lower left and then select Controller.

You can check to make sure the button layout is correct and test the inputs outside of Madden.

I do this exact method and the controller has inputs in there it even works in other games like fortnite but just not madden

@lle4p Thanks! Can you unplug the controller, or the dongle/USB from the PC, and try the following steps?

• From the main menu (not UT)
• Click creation center > load/delete files
• Click All
• Delete all files except franchise/Team Builder (if this applies)
• Skip all offline files

Then plug back in the controller - I would hardwire not USB. launch the game, and go into the settings again and make sure the controller is recognized.

I tried this and it still has the same issue. It showed the controller on the inactive side of change controller setting but it wont slide over. It still has the recognition issue of O being to select and L2 to be back.
