Why is my ultimate team locked I just got the game so is that why or is it because of the new update

Currently, there is MUT Server Maintenance happening; please give it a bit of time and try again!
If you happen to get any errors after the maintenance is completed, tag me and upload a screenshot of the error, and we can pass it along!
