Unable to import friends or receive requests

My son is on PS5 playing Madden 25. I am on PC playing Madden 25 via PlayPro.

None of my Playstation or Steam friends are showing up at all: 

I show up as his PSN friend (we can play Rocket League and Minecraft), and it even shows up in his Madden game, I just don't show up as online.

When he tries to send me an EA friend request, it says that it can't do it and to try again. Trying again does nothing.

I have spent an HOUR trying to get this resolved via chat, it is less helpful than using gas to put out a fire.

Could someone PLEASE help me out here? I just want to play with my kid.
