Delay of Game Glitch

So I am running accelerated clock while I play the CPU event so I can finish the event ASAP so I can receive the reward. But when I got a delay of game, the play clock is now stuck on :00 and now won't resume the game. I can still go into the pause menu and everything but can't call a timeout or anything to resolve this. I know if I restart the game it will give me a loss and have me restart the whole thing. Can I get any fix on this or have any EA support for this issue. I know very unlikely but please is there anyway. This has happened to me before with a game crash on my 17th win in the event.
