Error message trying to switch characters in superstar mode

In the last 2 days, everytime I try to  switch characters to start a new career as a qb I get an error message. It's telling me that data is corrupted and the screens just keep blinking until I finally close the game. I've already reset the game and even uninstalled it and then reinstalled. I think it is somehow tied to my Xbox profile name??? What do I do with this?
