Franchise gameplay bug

I was playing an online franchise game today and had a random bug. Mainly on defense, it would not let me pick a play. The play pick timer would run down and pick a random play for me. It happened a few times to me on offense as well. I tried restarting ps5, reconnecting internet, and restarting game. Nothing fixed the issue for me. Has anyone else had this issue? It started today. I have seen where it lags with the favorites tab, but I do not use my favorited plays tab very often. Thanks for any help!
