Game auto spiking every play unless I stop the clock (no I’m not pressing it)

I’m on PC and I had the same issue on madden 25 and EA told me steps to try to fix it and one of them worked….

i can’t remember what the steps were and I’ve spent the last 2 hours searching for ea live chat and have resorted to asking here because I can’t find it

can anyone help? Game is unplayable otherwise
