Game freezes when switching play calling tabs to "Favorites"

I'm playing on PS4 and everytime I go to the "Favorites" play tab, the game freezes for 20 seconds or longer. I've had to completely close the game multiple times, and when I've gotten back into the ...

Has anyone had any progress on this now the main release is out?

favorites at over 6000 and still freezing? Ultimate team and franchise 

 

deleting progress cannot seriously be a fix at this stage - then why did we all pay extra to order the game early.

 

anyone actually communicated with EA?
