I don't even know where to start
This game is riddled with bugs and shouldn't have even been released. For the most part, I play superstar mode because I like to progress a character and play more of a simulation style. These are just some of the problems I've encountered off the top of my head:
-Tackles that are clearly solo tackles being credited as assisted tackles
-The media being totally absent, thereby keeping the player from progressing through the storyline. Played 7 seasons and put up crazy numbers just to realize I can never reach the HOF due to this
-Home and Away uniforms swapping at random, I have to edit team uniforms before every game now to make sure they're correct
-Offensive lineman literally grabbing onto you with all their might and refusing to let go and never getting called for holding
-Player Grade going down when an opposing player commits a penalty on you
-Objectives not working. It will say "record one tackle for loss" and then make you preform two before it's counted as complete. It will say "Get a player grade of B or higher" and even if you get an A+ the objective is still failed
-Disgruntled teammates even if you're on a win streak and shattering records
There are also countless other reasons this game mode is incredibly frustrating; Teammates are completely incompetent on offense and defense. Opposing WR's and TE's will be wide open on most plays when the CPU is supposed to be covering them. Opposing offenses are way too overpowered, with running backs sometimes breaking 5 or more tackles in one run regardless of the defensive players' tackle rating. Superficial boosts are always given to opposing teams, such as "Opposing offense has increased awareness, speed, and catching", and this is just plain dirty. Opposing teams are already overpowered, they don't need a boost to their stats, it literally just makes the game broken and unplayable. Simulated coaching decisions are always totally wrong and unrealistic. Coaches will just let the clock run out at the end of a game when they have unused timeouts and could kick an easy game winning field goal. There are many more negative things I could say about Madden 26 but it isn't even worth it. They'll never fix problems like these. They'll just keep stacking code on an old engine not even meant for sports games and push out an unfinished product every year. EA has really outdone themselves this time, they managed to somehow make a product that fell short of my already low expectations.
