Madden 26 Switch 2 - Broken Kicking System

Question

The game is great so far, but extra kicks and punts are broken and needs updated. The arrow meter sometimes swings wildly for no reason, and 99% of my kicks veer waaaay off left or right as a shank kick despite the aim being completely centered and power at full.

What's odd is I don't have problems with kickoffs, and if I practice my kicks in the training segments, there's no issues. But in game, I can't make an extra point or punt more than 15 yards or so to save my life.

Changing to classic control solves the issue... but then I'm using classic control. In addition to just not feeling as good, I don't think I can use this online, which is an issue.

I posted this on Reddit and had a couple other people say they were experiencing the same thing on the Switch 2. So I think there may be an issue here, and wanted to post it so hopefully someone on the dev team could check it out.

same issue, though it's less problematic with the "tap and hold" way of kicking, than with the "tap and tap", which is a nightmare

If you're anything like me you haven't played Madden in a while &amp; maybe still thinking the kick meter works by stopping it at the top. I was doing the exact same thing at first &amp; had to look it up....if you do it shanks on purpose; this kick meter operates more like trying to green a shot in 2K (if you've played it). Try to let go while it's in the green about 3/4 of the way up while aiming &amp; it should work. I went from not being able to hit a PAT to hitting 51 yd FGs
