MUT 26 TRAINING REFUNDS NOT WORKING (PS5)

Does anyone know how to fix the issue of not receiving your training refund for player abilities in MUT 26? I've tried everything. I have deactivated abilities first, tried it from the binder instead of the lineup menu, deleted lineups, removed the player from the active lineup, and finally cleared my cache on PS5. Still can't get refunds for the abilities that I no longer want to use. 

It has been working just fine for months. Never had this issue until now.

I've heard it is a common issue, but I didn't find anything via search on the forums. Contacting EA is a nightmare, so I'm hoping someone here can help. Thanks.
