It would seem that sadly that is exactly where we are at now. I will seek a refund. There is no reason at all for a company to ignore a bug report as clearly explained as this one, especially when the bug prevents play, not merely degrades the quality of it. To my review, this is inexcusable. There are two people here, one a community manager and the other a community admin, who are hired to respond to inputs like the one I made.
I can respect a simple, "Sorry, but right now we don't have a solution for this, but we will investigate this further." But, what I cannot excuse is for a full business week to go by without anyone at EA bothering to even acknowledge the report.
The shame of this is that until this bug cropped up and prevented game play, I really enjoyed the game. But, if software companies are going to be unresponsive to clear issues then it doesn't leave any room for customers other than to seek a full refund.
