Been since October that Superstar mode was cratered due to an ongoing data retrieval error that prevents the game mode from even opening for offline play. This is ridiculous given Superstar mode does not need to be connected to a network, and that network tie is what is killing the game mode. EA Sports is prioritizing data mining to the detriment of the game mode.
Worse, EA Sports has cut off all options for person-to-person technical support help. I tried to delink my EA account with my X-Box console, and it did not work. But, in the process, an arbitrary move was made to prevent me delinking that account a second time until July of 2026! That's nuts!
What seems to be a solution to this ongoing issue is to delete your EA account, forcing the removal of all data that the game demands retrieving prior to starting Superstar mode, and then allowing customers to restart the account from scratch. The heart of the bug appears to be that EA released a game update that corrupted the account data, causing the data retrieval error. Why EA makes that solution impossible to implement is beyond me. Their additional refusal to actively interact on these forums and properly respond to bug reports just adds to the anger.
