User Abilities Not Working in Franchise

I have a slow sim league controlling all 32 teams and whatever team I’m on to start the game and start the slow sim, the x-factor and superstar players on that team don’t have icons nor their abilities. Meanwhile, the other team has both their icons and abilities. I quit and swap to the other team and it’s same thing for that team. Does anyone have a work around?
